another year of adult weekend at saranac has come to an end

for those of you who have never been - you must go next year

i really do like the younglife ministry - i can't fully explain what it is about it that makes it stand out to me
experiencing the weekend of camp is the best way to understand what i'm saying

i really feel like they reach teens
something to consider down the line possibly

some highlights:

- i took revenge and annie for the time her class filled up mine and jeff's dorm room with news paper.  I somehow ended up at the same station in the ropes course with her and I waited will we were both out on a tight rope and I shook hers until i felt like i had made her suffer enough. then i shook it some more cause it was funny

- my helmet saved the day when someone landed on top of me during a run of water tubing.  i think he kicked me or something.  he hit me so hard that i felt it through the helmet.  i almost threw up because i was out of breath and dizzy.  my head still hurts from it

- korean food at fort lee after we got back

simply put, its an awesome weekend and a great way to see how the younglife ministry works
if you have not yet gone - go next year with me!

so i was at church last night for a praise team practice

i got there before everyone else and started to set up equipment when i looked into the baby room (which is next to the closet where our equipment is) and i saw a tv in there.

all the lights were off, the tv was on and it was just static

my first instinct was to go turn it off because its a waste of electricty

then i realized how insanely freaky it was and decided i was too scared to go turn it off

then i realized that i was in church
and i was afraid to go into the baby room of the church

i showed everyone else later

no one turned it off that night

side note: Drew is now going to grad school while working a job at the same time
after a few days of orientation at grad school, drew gets to go to work again for a few days

quote by Drew:

"I can't wait for work tomorrow.  Its awesome.  Its like, 'You pay me to sit here' instead of 'I pay you to sit here'."
